Frequently asked questions
Will reversing audio change its speed or duration?
No. The tool reverses the sample order in each channel while keeping the same sample rate and number of samples. It does not slow down, speed up or independently change pitch.
Which formats can I open and save?
Open MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC or AAC when your browser supports the codec. Save MP3 at 192 kbps or WAV PCM 16-bit, at 44.1 kHz, in mono or stereo. Files are limited to 50 MB and 10 minutes; tags and artwork are not copied.
Do I need to upload my file or spend credits?
These three tools decode and process your selected file on your device, without uploading it to EZAudio. They do not require a login or credits. If you later choose a cloud tool in Continue editing, that tool uses its normal upload and credit rules.
