What does the Audio to Text Converter do?
EZAudio turns uploaded recordings and browser microphone captures into text, then lets you review the transcript and generate an AI summary.
Can I transcribe a recording made in the browser?
Yes. Open the Record Audio tab, record from your microphone, preview the recording, and submit it for recording transcription.
Which files can I upload?
The upload area accepts files from your device. Common browser-supported formats such as MP3, WAV, M4A, OGG, and FLAC are the best fit.
Can EZAudio generate a summary after transcription?
Yes. After transcription finishes, you can choose to generate an AI summary from the result view. Summary generation uses additional credits.
How can I get cleaner transcript results?
Use a clear recording, keep the microphone close to the voice source, reduce background noise, and avoid multiple people talking over each other when possible. Noisy, multi-speaker, or music-background recordings can be cleaned up first: separate the vocals, then transcribe the isolated speech — a cleaner input noticeably improves the result.
Can I export the transcript to Word (.docx)?
Yes. After transcription finishes, open the result view and choose Download → Word (.docx) to save a paragraph-formatted document you can edit in Word or Google Docs. The same menu also exports PDF, plain text, SRT, VTT, and CSV.
How do I convert an audio file into a Word document?
EZAudio does not turn audio into a document in one step: it converts the speech into text first, then exports that transcript as a .docx file. So the flow is upload or record → transcribe → Download → Word (.docx). The document contains the transcript with speaker labels, plus the AI summary if you generated one.
